TotalMedia Setup

TotalMedia Setup by Conexant is an installation utility designed to prepare Conexant-based TV tuner and A/V capture hardware for use on Windows PCs. It detects compatible devices, installs the required drivers and supporting components, and, when included by the OEM, deploys a companion media application for watching live TV, recording programs, and capturing analog or digital video. The setup guides users through essential configuration steps—such as selecting signal source, region, and scanning channels—to ensure proper playback and recording. TotalMedia Setup is intended for systems with Conexant chipsets and is typically delivered through OEM driver discs or bundled downloads.
